Transcendence
Abstract art allows me to create pictures without having to plan or collect ideas beforehand. During the process of creation I dive into another world, follow my impulse and transfer my impressions to the canvas.
Again and again I am surprised by the works I create and the different interpretations and emotions of the viewers I meet.
Human Nature
Nature does not judge. It takes our waste, like any other material, and channels it into its cycles.
It crushes, reshapes, distributes. Nature knows no time. We must be aware that our rubbish is everywhere, even if we do not recognize it as such at first sight.
I am interested in the natural aesthetics of waste, the moment of tension between fascination and knowledge.
